Community & Residential Services

Community residential services at Nirvana North cover training and/or habilitation, ongoing residential care and supportive services that are individualized and based on the person’s needs. Nirvana North provides supports in all the following areas within their Community Residential Services Department :

1. Assistance with activities of daily living.

2. Communication skills.

3. Community participation and mobility.

4. Health care.

5. Household management.

6. Interpersonal skills.

7. Leisure and recreation.

8. Medication oversight to the extent permitted under state law (e.g., Minn. Stat. 245D.05).

9. Money management.

10. Positive behavior and mental health support.

11. Self-care.

12. Sensory and motor development.

13. Socialization.
